Our Pillars

Professionalism. Community Service. Brotherhood. Leadership. DEI.

Our pillars make up who we are as a chapter and encourage to make impact on our community, ourselves, and one another everyday. Together we are an organization made up of more than 70 current brothers who are active on campus and driven to make a difference in their community. We are brought together to create a strong community that values professionalism, community service, brotherhood, and leadership.

Professionalism

Every semester, the Alpha Epsilon chapter holds numerous professional events, including a variety of guest speakers, company site tours, and case competitions. Additionally, we host a dinner for brothers and professional recruiters each fall and a networking reception in the spring to foster professional relationships and facilitate career opportunities.

Community Service

The Alpha Epsilon chapter strives to make an impact not only in the business world, but also in the greater community and the Twin Cities area. To accomplish our goals, the fraternity takes part in a variety of community service events each semester, partnering with the Red Cross, Feed My Starving Children, Special Olympics Minnesota, and more. Delta Sigma Pi is a national partner charity with the Ronald McDonald House. Each semester we do at least one event in partnership with the organization.

Brotherhood

Brothers of Delta Sigma Pi join not only for the professional events and community service opportunities, but to form lasting friendships with their collegiate peers. Brotherhood and close-knit relationships are essential to the success of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter. To continually foster brotherhood within our chapter, we host a variety of events each semester, including pledge socials, family dinners, intramural sports teams, book club, and other fun events to foster brotherhood and bring everyone together.

Leadership

The Delta Sigma Pi Alpha Epsilon chapter at the University of Minnesota is made up of a group of outstanding individuals who are strong leaders within DSP and our greater UMN community. Our members are driven, purposeful leaders who are dedicated to self-improvement and invested in each other and our community.

DEI

As one of our core pillars, diversity, equity, and inclusion are top priorities for our chapter. We strive to create a supportive, inclusive environment where every brother feels valued. The diversity within our brotherhood brings us all closer together and exemplifies what makes us unique. We are a strong community built of highly motivated individuals who can bring various perspectives to create empowering collective action
